Film director Syed Hasan debuted his documentary, 100 Boats, at The Landmark River Oaks Theater to a crowd of 300. The film, an account of his experience during Hurricane Harvey, featured the compassionate heroes who helped others during and after the storm. After the premiere, Hasan spoke, honoring the heroes featured in the film, including 3P OffRoad, Mosaic in Action, Mardi Gras and Johnny Bopho. 3P OffRoad’s recovery efforts helped rescue over 3,100 people. Johnny Bopho and his team of volunteers helped rebuild over 180 homes in Rosharon and fed nearly 700 volunteers. Hasan was asked to sign one of the American flags that had been tied to a rescue boat during the hurricane. The flag is a symbol of how organizations worked together during Harvey. Pictured, with the flag, are (on left) Hasan with (on right) Matt Haynie, incident commander and board president of 3P OffRoad.
