Neighbors who run together

After Kristen and Josh Gary completed the Aramco Houston Half Marathon last year, they inspired friends and neighbors to join them. First-timers this year included Natalie Crossley, Yolanda O'Malley and 11-year-old Samuel Caruso. Fifteen years ago, Austin Crossley completed the half marathon with friend Hugh Herman; this year, Austin was determined to beat his time from the past. He was successful, beating his time by five minutes. During the event, Hugh and Kristi Herman tracked the crew on the marathon app and surprised them twice along the route. Samuel, a St. John’s School student, finished before all of the adults.
