Trailblazers
Trail to Zero, consisting of 20-mile rides in U.S. cities to raise awareness for the 20 veterans a day who commit suicide, came to Houston. Participants included therapy horses, BraveHearts veterans and Houston mounted police. The Houston ride was the first open to the public to participate. Pictured are (from left) Taylor White with Lady, Taryn Sims with Mojo, and Kay Studhalter with Cinch. BraveHearts connects veterans with horses. See trailtozero.org.
