BLUE BIRD Blue Bird Circle supporters do more than chirp. Over a million dollars is raised annually for pediatric neurological research. Pictured are (from left) Alexis Valentine, event chair Jan Rhodes and Ashley Oliver. (Photo: Jenny Antill)

Champagne and music greeted 275 guests at the door as they marveled at the reconstructed Blue Bird Circle Resale Shop that had been closed since August for upgrades. Piano player Jerry Attwood added to the festive evening that was chilly on the outside but toasty inside. President Carolyn Williams and event chair Jan Rhodes glowed as guests were impressed at the high-quality great finds. The proceeds of over $1 million annually fund research and provide hope, love and healing for children with neurological disorders. Enjoying the new and impressive atmosphere were Ashley Oliver, Alexis Valentine, Kathy Goosen, Darlene Clark and Maureen Higdon. For more, see www.thebluebirdcircle.com.
