Pure imagination
Beth Yeshurun Day School hosted its annual gala. This year, the gala committee transformed Congregation Beth Yeshurun into “A Night of Pure Imagination.” Attendees enjoyed a scene of sweet surprises with gumballs hanging from trees, a chocolate wall of dessert, fizzy-lifting drinks and opportunities to win Golden Ticket bars (and $100 gift cards). Honorees were Karol and Daniel Musher and Amy and Gage Mueller. Gala co-chairs were Season Paquette and Lindsy Steinberg. BYDS students created art sold at the gala. Class art project chairs Tova Farrar and Rachel Teichman and BYDS art teacher Jodi Gold worked with students to come up with ideas that tied into the gala theme. Pictured are (from left) Ellery Casell, Maya Aruh and Lyla Lerman wrapping compact discs with string for their fifth-grade mixed media art piece.
