The 2020 Cattle Baron’s Ball, themed “Stars Over Texas,” was to take place April 25 at The George Ranch Historical Park; it has been canceled in light of coronavirus restrictions and concerns. Next year's gala will take plce April 24, 2021 at George Ranch Historical Park. The event benefits Victory, a volunteer branch of the American Cancer Society. Honorees are Joan and David Dunlap. Joan has been a member of Victory for 23 years and is a former ball chair and Victory president. Her commitment to support the fight against cancer is in honor of her sister, Nancy S.
