If you see flashing lights and hear sirens around lunchtime this week, it might be Bellaire’s Public Safety staff, who are spending a couple of hours each day on a public safety tour. Orchestrated by the City of Bellaire Fire, Police and Public Works Department, the week-long tour is a way for our public safety team to thank the community for their work in following the Stay Home-Work Safe order that’s in place in Harris County due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day this week, Bellaire Public Safety staff are parading down different portions of the city. On Monday, April 20, the parade went south of Bellaire Blvd./East of 610. See below for more details on where you can find them the rest of the week:

  • Tuesday, April 21: South of Bellaire Blvd./West of 610
  • Wednesday, April 22: North of Bellaire Blvd./West of 610
  • Thursday, April 23: North of Bellaire Blvd./East of 610
  • Friday, April 24: South of Bellaire Blvd./West of S. Rice
