The Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association (SBMSA) Nets (pictured) won the seventh/eighth-grade gold-bracket championship with a 51-44 win over the Celtics. In an exciting game at the Don Coleman Community Coliseum, the Nets battled it out on the court against a tough team. The game was essentially tied until the middle of the third quarter when the Nets moved ahead for the win. It was a great ending to their season after a strong showing in the regular season and an undefeated playoff run. The winning Nets are (from left) James Klingberg, Ryan Wu, coach Jeff Fields, Mack Fields, Anderson Strait, Evan Zhang, Parker Johnson, coach Taylor Johnson, Ian Zhang, Rylan Reichenau, Luke Fields and Avi Dubey.
