Zoe, age 6 months

I’m Zoe, a Chow Chow named after my owner’s mother. I live in Afton Oaks and take my owner for a daily walk. I enjoy talking to neighbors and always ask if there are any squirrels or lizards they’d like me to chase. I love running from window to window when there’s a moving target outside. Don’t let my sweet face fool you. I love unrolling toilet paper and digging in mud, even right after being groomed. My owner thinks I’m stubborn, but I’m just an independent thinker. I get lots of compliments, and some people even think I’m a baby bear. Chows are supposed to be difficult to train and generally don’t play fetch, but I’m the exception. I love to ride in the car and don’t take a back seat to anyone. Starbucks is my favorite place, where I make lots of friends who want pictures with me. I also like Becks Prime. They give me biscuits and water and treat me like a regular customer.
