Up for debate
High school students from across Texas, all passionate about speech and debate, created In Virtute Debate during quarantine. Based in Houston, In Virtute Debate is dedicated to improving the public speaking and debate skills of underprivileged students in Texas. The students, who attend a variety of high schools including Bellaire and Lamar, hold daily debate sessions. All sessions are free, and donations go 100 percent to students for resources, clothing or computers. So far, In Virtute has raised more than $1,000.
