Halloween celebrations will look a little different this year due to Covid-19 but there are still plenty of treats available for the community. This year, PATRONS for Bellaire Parks has launched “Boos & Booze,” a way to safely send Halloween-themed love to neighbors. Bellaire residents can take the opportunity to get in the Halloween spirit by sending a neighbor a “You’ve Been Boo’d” yard sign. Also available are Halloween-themed baskets for family members (The Boo Basket) or for adults (The Booze Basket). Baskets can be picked up Oct. 28-29, 5-7 p.m. Pictured (from left) are PATRONS president Kristi Coffey, dressed as a grasshopper, Heather Thestrup – who has already “boo’d” six neighbors – and VP of events Lisa Lim, dressed as a pigeon.
