Golfer Austin Le (pictured) won the 9th Annual Texas Junior Cup, held at the Carlton Woods Country Club in the Woodlands. The Spring Branch Middle School seventh grader competed as the line 1 player for the Southern Texas PGA team and defeated the Northern Texas PGA team in the Ryder Cup-style tournament. In order to earn a spot on the Texas Junior Cup team, Austin won two events at the Boys Southern Texas Junior Championship. When he is not competing, you can find Austin practicing golf every day at Memorial Park, where he has been playing for more than three years. He is looking forward to more competitions in the future so he can add to his collection of gold medals.
