Lily, age 8

My name is Lily, and I am an 8-year-old Shih Tzu. I was born in Malaysia, where my family used to live as ex-pats for five years. Since then, I have moved with them to Indonesia and then to the United States, where we live now. I’m a shy dog, so I never bark when I’m awake, but I bark at night when I dream, which wakes up my mom. Oops! To get me back, my mom does this weird thing where she hides from me and watches me panic as I try to find her. I’m usually a slow walker, but I love running on the beach in Galveston! My mom jokes that this makes me high maintenance. I have the cutest begging puppy face at family dinners. My favorite foods that I’ve worked for include sweet potato and chicken.
