Red Raider moms

Buzz-area moms of Texas Tech University freshmen gathered to assemble care packages for their students. Goodies included granola bars, popcorn, fruit snacks, candy, tea bags and lottery scratch-offs. Pictured are (from left) Kathy Tedor, Melanie Modica, Laura Winston, Anne Vachon, Theresa Bosley, Kellie Green, Elizabeth Groff, Alma Connor, Karen Fernbach, Karen Vine Fuller and Julie Kuenstle. Their kids graduated from local high schools, including Bellaire High School, Duchesne Academy, Houston Christian High School, Lamar High School and St. Thomas High School.
