Buzz-area moms of Texas Tech University freshmen gathered to assemble care packages for their students. Goodies included granola bars, popcorn, fruit snacks, candy, tea bags and lottery scratch-offs. Their kids graduated from local high schools, including Bellaire High School, Duchesne Academy, Houston Christian High School, Lamar High School and St. Thomas High School.
