Drive-by baby shower

Adana Paton, Cathy Holstead-Burk, Nancy Gardiner and Connie Wright hosted a drive-by baby shower for Peyton and Matt Silva, who are expecting a baby girl this month. Family members gathered from around Houston, the Woodlands, Austin, Galveston and Midland. They also placed balloons around benches and plaques that Mike Silva and his family recently dedicated in memory of Patti Silva, Matt’s mom, who passed away in January 2019. Guests visited the peaceful area at the Blalock bridge between Bunker Hill and Piney Point after dropping off gifts and kind words. Guests included Peyton’s mother, Delesa, and Patti and Mike’s daughter Laura and husband Stephen Carter, who attended with their daughter, Addison.
