Members of the Houston Racquet Club (HRC) raised more than $80,000 for the Child Life program at the MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital. The long-standing annual tradition involves raising money for the hospital and creating a massive gingerbread-house display. The gingerbread display was delivered to MD Anderson along with donated toys for the children. Cary Dunham, this year’s fundraising chair, HRC chief operating officer Thomas Preuml, and executive chef Adam Heath worked with the pastry team to facilitate this year’s gingerbread project. Pictured are (back row, from left) Cary Dunham, Adam Heath, Thomas Preuml, Rigo Gonzales, Tim Roberts, Ricardo Reyes, (front row, from left) Elmar Delgado, Raul Osorio, and Mario Charar Tay. The display at MD Anderson also features gingerbread creations from River Oaks Country Club, Petroleum Club of Houston, The Briar Club, and San Jacinto College.
