Ready to tri

Triathletes Lana Davis, Lyla Davis, and Owen Grieves (pictured, from left) competed in the Lago Mar Aquathon in Texas City. Owen, 9, a third grader at Roberts Elementary School, has been competing for three years, and his favorite portion of the race is the bike ride. Lana, 7, and Lyla, 8, attend West University Elementary School. Lana is also a biking enthusiast, while Lyla prefers the swim portion of triathlon. All three triathletes practice swimming, biking, and running on a regular basis to prepare for competitions throughout the year. The triathlete community is hopeful for a regular 2021 season. Lana, Lyla, and Owen are ready for a full calendar of upcoming triathlon events including Typhoon Tri, Lone Star Splash and Dash, Captain Tri, and the Bayou Series.
