A special return to Belize

Zack Farnan (pictured) reeled in a keeper while on vacation in Belize. He traveled to the island of Ambergris Caye with his lifelong friend Benjamin Finnett and Benjamin’s family on their annual visit to Belize. The group stayed at the Victoria House Resort and Spa where the highlights were fishing trips that turned into freshly caught ceviche for lunch and scuba-diving trips with large reef sharks, sting rays, and groupers. This year’s Belizean vacation was the first since 2018 when the Finnetts lost their son, Toby. The Finnetts loved having Zack join them on this special trip in Toby’s honor. Returning to the island without Toby was difficult for the group, but they all saw it as an opportunity to help with the grieving process and reminisce about happy times they all spent with Toby.
