The Meyerland Performing and Visual Arts Middle School recently celebrated two of their young art students. Eighth grader Eliran Masti’s painting, titled “When I Grow Up,” was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2021 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Competition. Additionally, seventh grader Maille Craig won a Silver Medal in the national Scholastic Art Competition for her piece titled “Music Theory.” Both students are enrolled in the school’s art magnet program.
