Hola! My name is Mateo. I’m pretty old – 16 years and 11 months, to be exact. I’ve been through two kids, two marriages, a hurricane, a flood, and four houses! My first owner, Ana, adopted me when I was only a puppy and she wasn’t married yet. About 5 years later, it was my owner and a little baby girl. We then moved to another house, and the little girl left almost every day to go to something called “school.” Time passed, and a man named Gustavo and, later, a little baby boy came along. We then moved to another house, after flooding from a hurricane. Now, I go walking almost every day with my family. The kids give me plenty of treats and crumbs, and I love to sleep a lot. I’ve lived a pretty long life, with a lot of memories. I will hopefully have a lot more to remember.
