The Recipe for Success Foundation hosted its Delicious Alchemy Banquet at Hope Farms for 50 supporters. The evening celebrated Recipe for Success Foundation’s Crystal Anniversary and honored beloved food pioneer Peg Lee, who was presented two proclamations, one from Mayor Sylvester Turner and another from County Commissioner Rodney Ellis. Guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and formal seated dinner – which included 10 courses served by 10 chefs. Recipe for Success founder Grace Cavnar emceed the evening and shared her own memories of Lee, her mentor and an early supporter of Recipe for Success.
