After being cancelled last year due to Covid, the Memorial Villages Independence Festival Parade was back this year. The festivities included a fun run, children’s bike ride, and a parade led by the Village Fire Department and followed by Village officials, resident vehicles, and police cars. The parade concluded in front of St. Francis/Ecclesia Church and wrapped up just as the rain was starting.
