West U takes state

The West University Intermediate All-Stars (pictured) are state champs. With a decisive 17-0 victory over Brenham, the team captured the title after an exciting run through district and sectional competition. This team is joined by a West U 15U team that also won the state title in their division. Solid hitting throughout the line-up and a combined no-hitter from pitchers Tommy Hetherington and Aaron Griggs led the Intermediate All-Stars to their huge win.
