Comeback kids

After being seeded No. 7 going into the elimination bracket, the Westbury Christian Wildcats 11U tournament team (pictured) finished the season as a finalist in the Perfect Game Summer Slam Tournament. According to coach Matt Murphy, the boys “flipped a switch” and made it to the championship game after two exciting walk-off wins. The Wildcats ultimately fell to the No.1 seed, 12-7, but were awarded a tournament-finalist ring and some newfound confidence.
