A dashing guest
SBMSA soccer camp

Houston Dash player Shea Groom (back row) made a special appearance at the Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association soccer skills camp.

Soccer players at the Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association (SBMSA) skills camp met a special guest when Houston Dash player Shae Groom (back row) arrived. More than 450 kids participated in the annual pre-season camp at the Spring Branch Education Center to work on the dribbling, passing, and shooting skills they need for a successful season. The camp was divided into separate sessions for different age groups to ensure each player learned age-appropriate skills and strategy. Shae, a forward for the Dash and former player at Texas A&M University, signed autographs and talked to the young players about her love for the game of soccer and encouraged them to work hard and enjoy the sport.
