On a hunt in Bellaire
The 2021 Walk & Roll for SCI, presented by Riverbend Energy Group, was a scavenger hunt around Bellaire. Approximately 800 supporters walked, rolled, scooted, biked, and skated to raise more than $130,000 for people with spinal-cord injuries. The route included 12 spots with activities or treats such as face painting, cookie decorating, tie-dying, Chick-fil-A, and bagels. Meg Grossman with GEM Events handled the details and decorations, and Allie and Eric Danziger organized behind-the-scenes. Bellaire High School baseball players volunteered because of the team’s connection to the Bormaster and Feinstein families, who have roots in the Bellaire program. Pictured are members of the Feinstein and Bormaster families: Stacey, Jesse, Cowles, Sam, and Wells Tally; Emily, Brandon and Mila Jalnos; Judy and Michael Feinstein; Alli, Jeffrey, George, Joshua, and Julia Feinstein; Leslie, Scott, and Kim Bormaster; Claire, Brian, Jack, and Blake Bormaster; and Kelly, Brian, Benjy, and Eli Masel.
