Cupcake, age 4

Hi! My name is Cupcake Bennion and I’m new to Houston. I was nervous to move here. I was used to the cacti, tumbleweeds, and dust in my eyes in West Texas, but it turns out Houston is awesome! The first day I moved here I decided to go exploring… I ran so fast I think my owner and I are ready for the Houston Marathon. Oh, and I love the food here! The leftover lamb from that French place is my favorite. When my owner isn’t looking, I steal it off the plate. They taught me not to do that in dog training school, but it just smells too good. Oh, and that Indian food. I’m not sure how they knew I got that… maybe my yellow curry mustache? My owners, Olive (8) and June (4), tie me to their scooters and we explore Houston. I can’t wait to see more!
