Former Buzz intern Jenna Talisman, Emery/Weiner Class of '20 (far right) flew all the way from Wisconsin to see Game 1 with parents Charlie and Jill and brother Michael (left).

Choice Johnson (left) was sweet enough to take a picture of editor-in-chief Joni and editorial assistant Caroline (right). When they asked him if he was from Houston, he told them he graduated from Bellaire High School, Class of '07!

  • Astros fans standing outside

Bellaire residents Shelley Davidoff, Steven Davidoff, Ben Stopnicki, and Jack Stopnicki are loyal 'Stros fans - we spotted them at Game 1 last year, too!

Buddies Chuck Robinson, David Budzinski, Jonathan Sheedy, and Brent Young saw us taking a picture and said “us next!” We love a camera-ready crew.

Dr. Joe Ilustre (right) and his wife Jackie Ilustre (left).

Joe Ruiz with pups Taco, Coco, and Lucky (TLC) who can also dance. We hate to play favorites, but these were our MVPs. Someone get them in the game already.

Astros fan Bobby Ellis was decked out. These orange chains with an "H" medallion were popular - we saw them everywhere!

Don't want your doorbell ringing mid-game tonight? Maybe you should do as Buzz head honchos Joni and Michael are doing... leave the candy outside so the trick-or-treaters won't disturb your game-watching!

The 2022 World Series started off this Friday, Oct. 28 at Minute Maid Park. A rainy day couldn’t deter Houstonians, who came out in droves in their blue, orange, and white. We didn’t mind the Phillies out of towners getting a little damp… welcome to Texas, y’all.

Luckily for the 'Stros (and our Buzz team) it stopped raining just in time for the game. The Astros were riding high after sweeping the Yankees last week, and started off strong up five points. But in the end, fans were disappointed by a nail-biter loss of 6-5 against the Phillies. Hope wasn't lost, though, and they came back strong with a 5-2 win on Saturday. Energy is high in the H as we anticipate Game 3 at 7:03 p.m.

With Halloween today, we’ve all got plenty of reasons to wear orange tonight. And we promise we won’t tell if you start stress-eating the candy stash in the seventh inning.

Click through the slideshow to see some of the devoted fans who made it to the Friday game! Plus, share your photos with us at [email protected] for a chance to be featured in The Buzz
