Home is where the heart is
Sidney and Jason Fagan and Ashley and Nick Howard joined more than 300 other guests to support Homemade Hope at the Home is Where the Heart Is gala. The event was held in the ballroom at River Oaks Country Club, and was chaired by Margot Delaronde Marcell, Heather Mountain, and Dr. Monica Patel. Homemade Hope, founded by Blair Bentley, provides emotional and academic support to homeless and underserved children by teaching them how to cook nutritious food and develop life skills. Blair and her sister, Homemade Hope board member Brooke Bentley Gunst, led the evening that recognized honorees Scarlett and Scott Hankey for their service to the community. While raising funds for after-school culinary classes, mentoring, and field trips, guests enjoyed a high-energy night of music from DJ Johnny “Bravo” Holloway.
