Mark Twain Elementary students Norah Morosan, Zoe Bradshaw, Olivia Prouhet, and Jefferson Levett (pictured, from left) enjoyed the school’s annual fifth-grade campout on the Pershing Middle School sports fields. The event included three hours of games led by beloved Twain teaching assistant Obinna Obichuku (aka Mr. Obi), followed by pizza and s’mores. One hundred and fifty kids and adults joined the fun that happened to be the same night that the Houston Astros clinched their World Series victory. “I bet they heard the noise all the way to Minute Maid Park,” said Marco Llujboya, father of fifth-grader Stefan, a student in Twain’s dual-language program.
