A winning season and celebrity sighting
The Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association Freshman Flag Football Seahawks team wrapped up an incredible season full of hard work, grit, and fun times. The team, coached by Ben Bredthauer, Matt Danna, and Andy Ramirez, had an undefeated season. They moved on to the Tully Bowl Championship game, where the boys ran through their Seahawks paper sign with a lot of excitement pre-game. The team won the Gold Championship, beating the SBMSA Packers 40 to 6. The team had a surprise sighting at the Tully Bowl of Houston Astros player Alex Bregman, who posed with some of the players and families. The players were Ben Candler, Blake Rasch, Easton Beitler, George Ramirez, Hayes Danna, Jack Moffett, JW Hoes, Logan Bredthauer, Micah Swoboda, Roane Mayes, Shep Heiligbrodt, Thomas McConn, Wallace Murdock, and Weston Grover.
