100 years of care
Event chairmen Eduardo and Maria Morales and supporters Lisa and Eric Lindsey (pictured, from left) joined 1,000 other guests at Minute Maid Park for the Shriners Children’s Celebration of the Century, 100 Years of Care. Kenny Craven, chairman of the board of directors, and his wife Jennifer, thanked the event chairs and host committee members for the successful evening that raised more than $1.5 million to help ensure children around the world receive excellent specialty medical care. KPRC Houston’s chief meteorologist Frank Billingsley served as emcee and introduced testimonials from parents and families who have experienced the impact of Shriners Children’s. The highlight of the evening was when multi-platinum entertainer singer-songwriter Dierks Bentley took the stage to entertain with crowd-pleasing songs while guests danced.
