Family and friends gathered at Brookdale Galleria to celebrate Earl Selzer’s 95th birthday. Son-in-law Howard Schultz, daughter Linda Lang, birthday boy Earl, son-in-law Michael Lang, brother Jerry Selzer, and daughter Elyse Schultz (pictured, from left) all enjoyed the milestone occasion with a special Earl-themed happy hour. Earl is a member of Brookdale’s weekly Flex Your Brain club, so his family created a trivia game with questions all about the guest of honor. Winners were treated to prize baskets filled with all his favorites: Oreo cookies, Hershey’s chocolate bars, popcorn, and Coke. Earl, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, was married to his late wife, Janice, for more than 66 years and they have three children, Elyse Schultz, Billy Selzer, and Linda Lang, seven grandchildren, and he recently became a great-grandfather to two grandbabies born eight weeks apart. After the party at Brookdale, Earl continued the celebration at NRG Stadium and watched his Cleveland Browns defeat the Texans.
