Congregation Beth Yeshurun hosted Astros third baseman Alex Bregman (pictured, center) and KPRC 2 Houston sports reporter Ari Alexander (pictured, right, with Rabbi Steven Morgen, Rabbi Sarah Fort, Reagan Bregman, and infant Knox Bregman) for a Hanukkah-themed Q&A session. Alex and Ari, along with Reagan and Knox Bregman, helped Rabbis Steven Morgen and Sarah Fort light the candles for the fourth night of Hanukkah. Alex talked about baseball and also touched on his childhood in New Mexico, his Hanukkah memories, his role as a public figure to speak out against antisemitism and other forms of hate, his new food ventures, and his foundation, Bregman Cares. At the end of the Q&A session, Alex invited the kids in the audience up to the stage for a group photo, and then took additional photos and signed autographs.
