West U homes on tour

The sold-out West University Elementary School (WUES) PTO home tour welcomed guests into eight West University Place homes. Annika Bermudez, Kate Doke, Laura Hobeika, Sandra Athie, and Sarah Nelson (pictured, from left) were thrilled to welcome friends and neighbors into the unique homes that highlighted the work of local builders, architects, designers, and realtors, and benefitted the WUES PTO. Tour attendees had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for an original art piece created by Houston artist and West U parent Travis Hedemann, whose works can also be found in the homes of Reese Witherspoon, Samuel L. Jackson, and Brad Pitt. This year’s home tour was chaired by Kate Doke and a team of volunteers including Annika Bermudez, Ilona Carson, Megan Davis, Leah Follette, Melissa Goodman, Laura Hobeika, Sarah Nelson,
Stephanie Magers, and Caroline Walter.
