The 2023 Spring Branch Education Foundation (SBEF) gala raised a 10-year high of $345,922 for Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD) scholarships, school supplies for economically disadvantaged students, and other needs across the district’s departments and campuses. Guests Claire Aitken, Debra Aitken, and Marci Baker (pictured, from left) donned western attire for the Space City Rodeo Gala at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. Co-chairs Brenda Stardig and Sheri Stegent welcomed guests to the event that honored Dr. Jennifer Blaine, SBISD superintendent of schools.
