The Memorial West Sharks Swim Team finished a strong season. Each morning, swimmers practiced at the pool with junior coaches and coaches encouraging them and helping them to strengthen their swim skills. This summer, around 160 swimmers registered to participate, with the largest age group for both boys and girls being the 7/8 age. The Sharks had 15 middle-school and high-school students serve as junior coaches this year for the team. Pictured (from left) are relay team members Eli Pham, Morgan Abbey, Tommy Schwab, and Austin Centanni at the Meet of Champs at the Memorial Spring Branch Swim Conference. These four swimmers came together to take fifth place for Memorial West Sharks in an exciting final meet. Great job, Sharks.
