Bellaire neighbors lined South Rice Ave. on Fourth of July for The City of Bellaire’s annual Celebration of Independence Parade. The Children’s Bike Parade kicked off the event and led the big parade down S. Rice. Pictured is Evalina Hess, helping to lead the parade with her car decked out with flags. Festive cars and groups paraded down the street, with many offering candy and sweet treats to onlookers, as a return of an annual tradition. Attendees, wearing red, white, and blue, headed toward Bellaire Town Square for the festival, which included live music, food, and entertainment. See a photo slideshow and recap of the day by Maya Harpavat here.
