Scooby, age 4

My name is Scooby, like the cartoon character. I’m a small, lovable shepherd mix with floppy ears and a cute curly tail. Four years ago, I hit the jackpot. I was found running in Westheimer traffic and brought to my forever home. I love to fetch and play tug of war with toys. Walking through the neighborhood and playing outdoors are also favorites. Nothing beats rolling in the grass, chasing squirrels, or drinking from my large water bowl. Everyone else swims in the bowl (aka pool), but that’s not for me. Watching dogs and delivery trucks pass the house is also fun. I love it when the postman drops things through the mail slot. If I’m fast enough, I rip the letters up before my family gets to them. Not my best habit. At the end of day, I like snuggling with my family, and I hope other dogs get the chance to be as lucky as me.
