A senior retreat

The Second Baptist School (SBS) Class of 2024 (pictured) recently spent time away from campus as a group and participated in the senior retreat. This annual tradition is reserved for the 12th-grade class and is designed to strengthen relationships between students and give them a time and place to reflect on their time at SBS and think about their futures after graduation. The SBS faculty played an important role in the retreat when they presented special sessions for the students with topics focusing on critical thinking, leadership, and living in faith. A highlight of the beloved event is when students are given letters from their parents, and each senior can read a special message written just for them. When the retreat was over, students returned to campus and regular school life with a new enthusiasm for their final year.
