Vodka Watermelon

Summery and pretty, a Vodka Watermelon is delicious, hydrating, and a little different.

It’s the last weekend for summer flings, and that calls for a cocktail.

One of our all-time favorites is a Tito’s with grapefruit juice and a little splash of St. Germaine (in a styro cup with crushed ice, please). Soooo refreshing and soooo drinkable in the heat. It’s a little dangerous, actually.

For a 100-degree Labor Day weekend twist, a Tito’s (or your favorite vodka) with watermelon is our drink. Summery and pretty, a Vodka Watermelon is delicious, hydrating, and a little different. You will be happy you made these.

Despite the heat, we can’t help you hold onto the summer vibes much longer. But we can offer a Vodka Watermelon, which pretty much captures the last days of the season in your glass.

Vodka Watermelon Cocktails

2 cups watermelon cubes
Vodka
St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
Lime wedges and rounds
Fresh mint leaves

Puree the watermelon in a blender. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any solids.

Pour 3 ounces watermelon juice, 1 ounce vodka, a squeeze of lime, a splash of St. Germain, and ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into an ice-filled glass and garnish with mint and a slice of lime on the edge of the glass.
