The event, held at River Oaks Country Club, was chaired by Margot Delaronde Marcell, Heather Mountain, and Amal Khalaf, and raised more than $285,000 to fund programs that teach underserved children to cook nutritious meals. Houston community honorees Sara and David Cordua were recognized for their longtime support of the organization that was founded by sisters Blair Bentley and Brooke Bentley Gunst. Blair addressed the crowd and talked about the ongoing programming that provides after-school culinary classes, mentoring, and emotional and academic support for children in the community.
