The 14th annual Trafigura Run for the House, benefiting Ronald McDonald House Houston, brought nearly 800 runners downtown to Sam Houston Park. Professional MMA fighter and event grand marshal Raufeon Stots, emcee Katherine Whaley, RMH Houston chief executive officer Cristina Vetrano, Santa, and local run participants (pictured, from left) were among the festive race crowd that raised more than $490,000 for RMH Houston, which serves as a home away from home for families with seriously ill children who are being treated in the Texas Medical Center. The event included a wide range of participants from competitive runners to families with children in strollers and dog walkers, and groups from schools including Poe Elementary.
