Shadow, age 9

It's ironic that I am writing from “a dog's point of view,” since I consider myself a human! I am just the same as my brother and sister – what sets me apart is that I am Mom’s favorite child. Mom is also my favorite because she gives me the most Pup-Peroni! I get to stay at home and sleep on the couch even though I have three beds. On special days, I get to go to work with my mom as the HR director. My favorite activity is following my siblings around the house for their crumbs of Goldfish. I have a heart condition, but that’s just because I love my family so much. My sister is leaving for college soon, and then next is my brother. I hope I get to stay home with my mom and dad forever, and won’t have to worry about leaving for doggy college. Love, Shadow (with help from my siblings Dylan and Rilina).
