Honoring first responders
Families and police officers (pictured) enjoyed the second annual Spring Valley Village Police Family and Community Day in the Park, hosted by Residents for Responders and Spring Valley Village. The afternoon event, held at Spring Valley Park, brought the community together to show support and appreciation for the Spring Valley Village Police Department officers and their families. Guests enjoyed inflatables, cornhole, spike ball, and food trucks from Ultima Tacos, UPDog HTX, Nacho Wagon, and Kona Ice, with officers and families receiving food and drink coupons. Telecommunications Supervising Officer Deborah Gonzalez was honored for her 25 years of service with a gift card presented by Residents for Responders.
