The Mission of Yahweh's annual Miracles of the Mission luncheon welcomed more than 250 guests to the Junior League of Houston. Cynthia Wolff, Beth Wolff, Cheryl Byington, Giacomo Valente, and Saula Valente were among the crowd to hear guest speaker Alan Graham, the founder and chief executive officer of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, a Christian outreach organization that provides assistance for the homeless. Emcee Johnny Bravo welcomed guests to the afternoon that raised more than $200,000 to support the Mission of Yahweh’s programming including emergency shelter for homeless women and children. Lunch, which included the Junior League’s coveted orange rolls, was served at tables decorated with centerpieces of florals, greenery, and fruit with photos of the children from the Mission. Each year, this setup reminds supporters that fruit is a welcome donation to the Mission, as it is not often gifted to the residents.
