The Spring Branch-Memorial Sports Association Slingers claimed the Pony Gold Division Championship for the 2024 season after a playoff schedule filled with postponements due to storms. The Slingers also won the regular season title, ending the season on a seven-game winning streak. Jack Jones led the team with a .714 batting average, reliably setting the stage for Will and Luke Connally, who combined for 35 RBIs this season. After winning the Pony Silver Championship in 2023, the Slingers have now captured the Gold and are looking to repeat in 2025.
