American Heart Association celebrates 100 years
Amber Baker, Jim Postl, and Roz Pactor (pictured, from left) celebrated the 100th birthday of the American Heart Association (AHA). Supporters gathered at the offices of the Houston branch of the AHA to recognize the centennial with live music, refreshments and hors d’oeuvres from Tony’s, and a celebratory cake. AHA board member Pam Wells addressed the crowd and recognized Postl for his contributions to the organization, including his leadership with the Second Century Campaign and helping raise more than $500 million to fight heart disease and stroke.
