Lauren Levicki Courville, Carrie Fersen, Mary Patton, and Maria Lowrey (pictured, from left) celebrated at Rendezvous with Dress for Success (DFS), a sold-out event that raised more than $630,000. More than 530 supporters gathered at The Revaire to commemorate 10 years of DFS Houston’s Women Veterans Program, which has supported more than 1,700 women veterans in the community. The Rendezvous event was led by co-chairs Alison and Brent Johnson, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army Veterans, and Melkeya McDuffie, U.S. Army Reserve Veteran, and Larry McDuffie. The evening kicked off with a bugle performance by Senior Airman Angela Hawks-Johnson as the U.S. Marine Corps Texas City High School Color Guard marched in to present the colors and Master Sgt. Angela Matthews performed the National Anthem. KHOU Channel 11’s Mia Gradney then welcomed the crowd who bid on a variety of packages prepared by auction co-chairs Susie Cunningham, Kate Dearing Fowler, Katherine Orellana Ross, and Monica Richards.
