Hi, I’m Rui, and my name means “Famous Ruler.” As ruler of my house, I stay busy keeping squirrels off the grass and cats off the fence. I enjoy welcoming visitors to our home and being the center of attention. As a herding dog, I escort everyone to the bathroom. It’s really not a problem for me, but some people don’t understand the service. My favorite way to get to know someone is to smell their hair. I get a sniff and then sneeze, but it’s my way of showing some love. I’m most energetic when kids are around playing. My favorite sports to play are football, soccer, and tag. I occasionally get in trouble when I bite the ball, but my mom always seems to have a backup around. The best part of my day is when my brother and sister return home from school and give me lots of cuddles.
